Solution

Let Maya buy bb boxes and ss single muffins: 10b+3s=4710b+3s=47 with b,s≥0b,s\ge0. Modulo 33, 10b≡b10b\equiv b and 47≡247\equiv2, so b≡2(mod3)b\equiv2\pmod 3. Since 10b≤4710b\le47, b≤4b\le4, so b=2b=2 and s=47−203=9s=\frac{47-20}{3}=9. She bought 4⋅2+9=174\cdot2+9=\boxed{17} muffins.
